My favorite show is Emily in Paris, and I am obsessed with Parisian Chic as an aesthetic! I thought I would take some time today to share my tips on how to achieve that effortlessly perfect French Girl style, since we are hot on the heels of Paris Fashion Week. This will give you time to practice some of these before Hot Girl Summer arrives.

When I go for a "no makeup" look, I almost always use a tinted lip balm. My absolute favorite is Burt's Bees Raspberry, but your favorite chapstick may have a tinted version. A budget way to get a tinted lip balm is to take Vaseline and a bold lipstick you like and mix them to get the level of color you want, then store your mix in a travel cosmetic container. I made my own lip balm this way using an ELF lipstick I already had on hand.
I don't have a favorite tinted sunscreen yet. I don't wear a lot of makeup in the summer (because I'd rather go without makeup than breakout) but for some events, I like a light layer of some kind of foundation, and so I use a tinted sunscreen. It helps hide any slight imperfections or discoloring without being heavy, and it helps keep your skin looking younger for longer. Since I don't have a tinted sunscreen I like, I sometimes just mix a little of my foundation into my sunscreen. This way, I can have lighter or heavier coverage, depending on what I need that day. I always follow my makeup-removing skincare routine, even if all the makeup I wore that day was tinted sunscreen and lip balm.
There are so many ways to get heatless curls, and I have tried most of them! Right now, my two favorite methods are satin curling rods with scrunchies and French braids.
Water is so good for you! I love to keep a 20-24 ounce water bottle on me at all times and love the SimpleModern brand.
